I have a confession to make. Cute puns on baby clothes get me every time. In fact, it gets worse - basically any sort of text whatsoever on baby stuff, I’m there.
I even go in for the whole for the ‘Daddy loves me’ line. I particularly go in for the ‘I’m beautiful/smart/lovely just like my mummy’ line. I haven’t yet seen an ‘I am a strident feminist’ kind of line, but I can assure you I’d be right there. Hey someone should totally do that! (Richard Dawkins would be mortified, of course; in his eyes ascribing ideologies to children amounts to child abuse.) My goodness, how did I end up there?
