Kafkaz is such a beautiful song Daisy. I have noticed recently that Miss Glow Bug is embracing all sorts of tunes. From children’s tunes to hip hop to ukuleles to indigenous global beats … this baby has the boogie fever. It’s finally time that I unleash her eclectic flavour on to Daisy and Zelda.
This pint-sized toddler has found her place as the DJ in residence at day-care. While spying on her through the window on the way to work, I see her conduct her teachers, informing them what to play and when: “Music! Music! Dancing! Frog! Giants! Dancing … Dancing … DANCING!!!” I watch the teacher get distracted as petite poppet makes a run for the stereo and skips to the next track.
No one puts baby in a corner. I sense a future *Real Hot Bitch here.
This week Glow Bug has been dancing to award winning New Zealand children’s band The Chucklebees.
Miss Glow Bug says:
The **Chucklebees are so hot right now … Every time I watch this clip I am left wanting more more more. Although my mum doesn’t always understand this. I am pleased that they won What Now Children’s Video of the Year for their video “Amazing” at this year’s ***APRA Awards. While being a staunch feminist, I have no qualm in letting the world know that I adore the pink fairy -she is very pretty. I find nothing more alluring than individuals singing and dancing in lycra. I do however wish that there were more monkeys in this clip. If you Chucklebees do make another please consider using more monkeys. Thank you.
*See the Real Hot Bitches Dance Troupe break the world record in Christchurch in lycra!
**The Chucklebees – the artists formally known as The Plops.
